2016 JGP Tallinn Cup Blog #2
Hello again from Tallinn!
This morning I got to sleep in so I took full advantage of it. After waking up starving I had a quick breakfast and although I planned to walk around old town I fell back asleep when I got to the room! I don’t know why I’m so tired this trip, but it was a pretty magical nap. Afterwards, I felt much better and excited for the day. I got ready for practice and we left for the rink. Practice went well, even though we only had one practice it felt good and we are ready for tomorrow. After practice we caught the bus back to the hotel and then I did a bit of homework and watched some Blacklist on Netflix. (Highly recommend!!)
Before going back to the rink to watch Vincent and Camden, Logan and I took a quick walk to old town and found a super cozy coffee shop. They had paper cups for customers to draw on and there were notes from all around the world, so I made one too. Afterwards, we headed back to the hotel and got on the bus to watch the men! They both did very well, and are in 1st and 7th although the event isn’t over. The pairs and ladies had their short programs today too, our US lady Tessa is in 4th, and our three pair teams are in 5th, 8th, and 11th.
After watching men I ate dinner with some of team USA and then came up to go to sleep. I have to wake up at 4:30 tomorrow morning because we are in the first practice!! Goodnight from Estonia.
(It’s crazy that when I wake up on Friday morning everyone in the USA will still be awake on Thursday night!)
