2015 JGP Poland Blog #4: Until Next Time…
Hi everyone!
It makes me sad to say I am writing my last blog about Poland. I had such an amazing time there! I definitely didn’t want to leave. Everyone I met was so nice and I’m so glad I got to know everyone better while I was there.
The morning of the freedance, I got breakfast and went to practice. Then we had a lot of time before we were supposed to compete, so I just stayed at the hotel and hung out with some friends. Then we went to the rink and did the freedance. Our freedance went well, not our best, but we are still happy with it. It was so sweet because all of Team Canada came to watch and support us!
We all stayed to watch the men’s medal ceremony to cheer on bronze medalist Roman Sadovsky, and then we went back to the hotel for a little bit. After that, all of Team Canada went out to eat together. We went bowling and then went around town some more. It was a ton of fun! Then, we went back to the hotel and we all hung out together and just talked and had fun. It was the perfect way to end an awesome week! I had such a great time with the team and I’m going to miss them a lot.
I’m so glad I was given the opportunity to go to Poland and to have such an incredible experience. I am also glad I could blog all about it. Thank you ice-dance.com!
Thanks for reading! Until next time!
